This can be turned off easily and then noise cancelling is decent. Fully waterproof, charge lasts ages, very well stuck to ears even with serious head banging. Best headphones i've had making them especially good value at this price. One minor issue is i spent ages trying to work out how to change volume on them. Turned out i needed to get the app to change the button settings in order to do this. Easily done with app though. Better than beats that i've had previously.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Annipond from Solid product with long battery life I have been using the JBL Endurance Peak III everyday for over a month now. The battery power is exactly as advertised and the charging time is adequate, I especially like the qucik charge function in the case. They are built very nicely, every part feels nice to touch and the quality is good. I also can confirm that they are slightly waterproof after having been caught in the rain several times. The sound quality is pretty good and for audiobooks they are among the best headphones I have used so far. Connecting them to the free app was easy and super fast and it is nice that the buttons and functions can be customised. To me personally, the fit isn't ideal but that is an issue that I have with pretty much any headphones or earbuds on the market. They stayed in my ears, even when training or cleaning, but it never felt really secure and it hurt after a about 2 hours. As for negative points: the case is pretty big and thus takes up a lot of space in a handbag or in trouser pockets. It also took me a long time to learn how to use the functions of the earbuds, finding the right spot where to press took several tries every time. And lastly, I didn't like that the controlling via app needed an activated GPS function on the phone. They are good quality earbuds that deliver what they advertised but take some time to get used to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ebick929ley from Nice behind the ear listening device These are somewhat comfortable to wear for all day activities however, I will say if you wear glasses you have to play around with it to get a great feeling for your liking. I like how long the battery life is along with the capability to wear one by itself or both at once. The sound quality is average for JBL and doesn't really standout. It does offer the ambient listening option which comes in handy for the need to hear things in the background. I also like how you can run your finger up or down to adjust the volume. The case is big and bulky and would love for them to make the case compact by putting the buds back to back rather than side to side.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DreDay from EP3 The Endurance Peak 3 is a comfortable fit. They fit into and in my ear just right. No irritation to my ears when working out, jogging or just listening to music. With the ambient sound control it makes the quality of the music better. The touch controls takes a bit to get use to, but work fine. The only draw back with EP3 is when I'm on call the volume is low. I can barely hear the caller. I've tried everything. But I can not figure out how to make the call volume go up.

Let me start off by saying ,make sure you download the JBL Headphones App also make sure you try on alk the ear plug tios that are included in the box to make sure you get the best sound experience.Now that we got that out the way let me say thease are decent sounding ear buds i had to go into the app to get them to sound the way i wanted them to sound,I like that you can use each earbud by themselves without one being the slave earbud .For me i will only use these for gym workouts or basketball they are great for that because they do not fall out when you lock them into your ear .They were easy to connect to my phone I also like that they have a talk through and a hear through feature and a long battery life .The reason i will keep them for my rugged activities is because i would not want to carry them around every day unless you have a backpack or some kind of bag that you carry with you because the carring case is as big as a bar of soap i would not want to keep them in my pocket ,otherwise they are great.

How do I turn the volume up and down? Swiping the right bud up and down doesn't work, it just pauses and restarts. It is a brand new bud.

They removed the swipe up and down to control volume function in this newest version for some reason. If you want to be able to control volume you have to download the app and then switch one of the headphones to one tap for volume increase and two taps to decrease. There is no way to quickly change volume on these and the tap is in poor spots that make it difficult to use when running. One use and I will be returning these. Horrible decision to remove volume control.

Which ear bud is the Bluetooth chip in, left or right?

How do I increase volume?

The right ear pod has stopped producing sound. The blinking light alternates blue and green. The pod is fully charged, but no sound. After about 5 minutes, the pod automatically turns off.

To do so, take out both earbuds and unhook them to turn them on, then they will automatically pair with each other. Once done, please check your source device and look for JBL Endurance Peak 3 to connect. Test and see if the issue has been resolved or persists. Internal storage?

Our JBL Endurance Peak 3 does not have a feature for internal storage. We recommend our JBL Endurance Dive, as aside from being waterproof, it also features a built-in MP3 player where you can store your music in the device itself.

Can you swim laps with these?

Our JBL Endurance Peak II has an IP68 rating, which means it is waterproof but not suitable for swimming because Bluetooth signals do not pass through water. Instead, we recommend our JBL Endurance Dive, as aside from being waterproof, it also features a built-in MP3 player that is perfect for swimming activities.
