Hi, What are the options for the lights on the speaker , can you set it to one colour and not to pulse

Hi, and thank you for your interest! You have three randomized patterns and one that follows the music. You cannot get other effects, and one colour only is not available.

I have 3 JBL Partybox 300 speakers connected via RCA cables with a wireless mic connected to 1. However, sound only comes out of the speaker the microphone receiver is transmitting to and not over the RCA cables to the other speakers. Can this be fixed?

Asked by: Steve P
There is no workaround for this kind of setup. The microphone input will not pass to other speakers connected through RCA cables.

Asked by: Anonymous

Is this waterproof like the boombox?

Asked by: Braimai123
Hi and thank you for your interest! No, this model is not waterproof, and has no IP rating. What you can do, if you want to use it where there is risk of rain, is to wrap a plastic garbage sack around it. Normal plastic will not influence the sound very much, and will protect well against the moisture.

Asked by: Friis

How come it has a 10000 mah battery and the boombox has 20000 mah battery and is cheaper?????

Asked by: Ollie martin
Hi Ollie, The Boombox is cheaper than the JBL Partybox because of the features and components used in the Party Box 300. The storage capacity of a battery also has no influence on the price of a product.

What is the sound difference (loudness) between the PartyBox 300 vs JBL Boombox (which i already have)? But could always upgrade if significant difference.

Asked by: Clany
The JBL Boombox has a signal-to-noise ratio of 80dB while the PartyBox 300 has an average of 64dB. With these numbers, it shows that the Boombox is louder than the PartyBox 300. About the sound quality, it would be based on your preference. You can purchase the JBL PartyBox 300, and if it doesn't meet your expectations, you can return it for a refund. What is the rated continues power of the JBL PartyBox 300 while on battery mode? and what is the rated peak power while on battery mode? I am just curious to know since some of the larger JBL speakers throttle down on power while on battery mode.

Asked by: BD2019
Our JBL PartyBox 300 is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery and consumes 60W whether plugged-in or on battery. The 120W and 240W refer to the rated power and peak power ratings of the speaker, respectively. Rated power is how much continuous power the speaker can handle (120W). Peak power, on the other hand, refers to the maximum power level the speaker can handle in short bursts (240W). So as long as you use moderate volume when playing the speaker out on the street, you'll be able to maximize your music playtime.

Asked by: Zedniya
Hi. You can find this spec in the owner's manual. We state: Total output power 120 W RMS. This is true for both the 200 and the 300, but of course the 300 can run on its internal battery as well.
