Based on the information you have provided, I suggest you try the following: Setup: Try turning your radio on and off. If this does not work, a complete re-scan may be necessary. See the manual for specific instructions on how to perform the scan. Built-in antennas Make sure the telescoping/integrated antenna is fully extended. Try moving the radio around to see if you can find a better position where you get good reception of all the stations you want to listen to. In most cases, the supplied telescoping antenna should be perfectly suited for outdoor or nearby use. If your radio reception is poor, you may want to consider an external antenna for better reception quality. Even in good areas, an external antenna will ensure optimum performance and also provide consistent listening quality. Please note that not all products allow the connection of external antennas. External antennas If you have an external antenna, a radio signal will always lose some of its strength as it passes along the cable and through the connectors. It is important to minimize the losses by using good quality cables and connectors. Make sure that all cables between your radio equipment and the antenna are properly connected. The antenna must be designed for DAB reception - universal antennas may not be tuned/calibrated for the frequency band. Most problems are not caused by "interference" sources. Interference is rare and often mistaken for a reception problem. If the problem persists for some time, it is probably a reception problem, not interference. If it happens intermittently, but your reception is otherwise good and it affects your neighbors' reception at the same time, it is more likely to be interference. If the sound starts to crackle or cut out completely, or if you have lost a radio station, it may be due to one of the following reasons: - There is a defect in the transmitter. - You are in an area with poor signal coverage. - The positioning of the radio and/or the telescopic antenna needs to be adjusted. - A cable or connector is damaged or has become disconnected. - A problem with your antenna installation. - Your unit needs to be readjusted. - A source of interference. National and local radio services Large DAB service providers often group their stations into a national multiplex. Although these usually include national stations, specific local channels may be broadcast via a different transmitter. For example, a private commercial multiplex.
